| This series of books is "fabumouse". My seven year old loves them and his reading ability has increased dramatically with these books. They are great books for young readers as they transistion from early readers to advanced reading material. We own and love the audio versions of these books as well. The Temple of the Ruby of Fire is a favorite. |

| Poppy has done it again ! Not onley does she save Ragweed's brother ,Rye , from a nasty batch of beavers ,
but she also saves Ragweed's family as well. I'd say this book is for someone who likes animals that's proabaly why I like it so much. |

| I just received this book, and I'm sure the prose is terrific. But if you're hoping for a book with those great Pixar illustrations -- this isn't it. Or if you're expecting a sort of "art of" book -- this isn't it. In the middle of the 126-page book you'll find 8 color pages with stills (photographs) of the movie. I know, the subtitle clearly says "novel", and that's exactly what it is. |

| My mother first read this book to me when I was a child and I read it to my little brother later. I bought a copy for myself as an adult and have had great fun sharing with all of the children in my life. The story is a cautionary tale about the law of unintended consequences and the need to work out your differences. The best thing about the book is the hilarious illustrations. | I enjoyed this story about a clever and creative little squirrel who savors fine art. This book has the potential to turn young people on to the visual arts and to the treasures museums offer. I love the "Norman Rockwellish" final illustration in the book --depicting Micawber rendering his own self-portrait.
