| I sat down the night the book came and read it cover to cover. Interesting and well-written, it is a good introduction to some of the key figures of the middle ages. My children used Famous Men of Rome last year and loved it. They like this one just as much and we highly recommend it as a springboard into a study of the middle ages. |

| I sat down the night the book came and read it cover to cover. Interesting and well-written, it is a good introduction to some of the key figures of the middle ages.
