| After purchasing Sometimes I Like to Curl up in a Ball, I was anxious to introduce my children to more of the adventures of Little Wombat. So, I purchased this book. The illustrations were just as meticulous and detailed as in Sometimes I Like to Curl up in a Ball, but it lacked the same charm. The text did not rhyme or flow in the same way. Author Vicki Churchill was noticeably absent; Charles Fuge both wrote and illustrated the book.

Not only does Josephine follow her dreams to be a ballerina, even though her brother continually tries to discourage her, but she does it through her OWN intuition and initiative! | Racing the Wind is part of the Dolphin Diaries series. Although I have not read any of the other dolphin books, it didn't matter. Racing the Wind was great! I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Initially, I was drawn to the novel because I had traveled to the Amazon last year and swam with pink dolphins in the wild. | This is a chapter book about Arthur. He sneaks up on D.W. and copies her song so that he could win a contest. He ends up not sending it in because he feels bad about copying, and D.W. wins! I like Arthur books because they are fun. This one wasn't my favorite because it wasn't as much of a mystery. I recommend this to kids who like the Arthur stories and want to read chapter books. JG |

Any time you feel the Christmas spirit is lost in all the hullabaloo of the season, 15 minutes reading this story on the sofa some evening is all it takes to bring that spirit back to you and your family.
