| If you are the parent of a young child, you probably know who Maisy is. She's a mouse with a duck, a squirrel, an elephant, and a crocodile for friends. Why the crocodile isn't trying to eat the others is beyond me, but that's life in Maisy's world. | I purchased this book for my 20 month old daughter who is facinated with clocks. The book is entertaining, she enjoys the story but the problem was that the hand on the clock fell off on the first day. Considering that this is a board book the attached clock should be sturdier. |

| It's hard to pick a favorite of the Maisy books--it seems to be whichever one we're reading at the time. This one is especially fun if your child is at all interested in working in the kitchen. After reading "Maisy Makes Gingerbread" (numerous times), my 2-year-old and I made gingerbread cookies together. She enjoyed following the steps, "just like Maisy," and while we were eating the cookies, she said, "Yum, yum. Nice gingerbread cookies, Maisy!" (the text from the last page of the book). I think ...
