| I've just recently started reading this series, and I have to admit that I have been very entertained. This book was a bit "young" I noticed in the writing, but understandably so, since the main character is only 11. Since I had seen the movie before I'd read this, I didn't have very many surprises, but all in all, it was worth the read. |

| I love this book - it's a fun, quick read and I love the author's sense of humor. My daughter is 2 1/2 and is a little luke-warm on the book, but I love it. |

| I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter who is definitely a girly girl! She is also behind in her reading ability. She loved this book and it really fired her interest much to my delight. |

| I have to say, I don't enjoy reading this book. I see in the reviews that there is a longer version, and I think I might like that more. This one just gets on my nerves. My son seems to really enjoy it, though. |

| We use this book as a completion/graduation gift for a summer program for high school students that gives them experience in working at a university-level research project. The program is called SHARP. The book edition is hardback with a color-embossed jacket, so it will hold up as a keepsake, and the kids use it as they would a yearbook--collecting autographs and keep-in-touch messages from their friends and teachers. |

| Very round, very cute, very... childlike, for lack of a better word.
And I always appreciate the effort in making a multiracial cast of kids, not everybody does that. Would be nice if the flaps were a little stronger, though. Unfortunately, they *will* rip off, so this book has to be supervised only :( |

| This book was given to my daughter as a gift and it is now one of our favorites. My 5 year old daughter loves it because she relates to the story easily and the illustrations are so fun.
