| After we watched the movie, my daughter wondered why there needed to be a field guide for so few mythological creatures. She was right!!! The movie cut out so many main elements and characters, that the books were a welcome relief to know the story that the authors actually intended to share. The size and storage box make them truly easy to join my other collectables. |

| I love these books by Richard Scarry. I bought them when my children were small, and I bought this one for my 5 month old grandson. Even though he doesn't understand the words and pictures, he loves the colors, and there is so much to look at that they really entertain him. The other day he was kind of cranky so I sat in the rocker with him and read two of the books. | If you're expecting to read the "typical" Foxworthy book you're going to be disappointed with "Dirt on my Shirt." Instead, you'll discover that his genius is considerably greater and more extensive than you might have thought, based solely upon his "Redneck" books. I recently bought this book for my four-year-old granddaughter and it quickly has become one of her favorites! Buy this book for your children or grandchildren--you won't be disappointed!
