| My one year-old son loves this book. It very quickly became one of his favorites when he received it as a gift and picks it out when it is storytime. The pictures are wonderful and the story is delightful. I loved it so much, I went and bought Anna Dewdney's other Llama Llama book. |

| His Dark Materials is a really good series of books. I've never been much for fantasy, nor have I read a lot of children's books. Harry Potter looks boring, so I've stayed away. My draw to these books started with a an e-mail forward last Christmas, one of those alarmist e-mails trying to convince me to boycott the movie due to its "atheist themes."...I wanted to see what all the controversy was about, what could rile up the e-mail mob.

| Okay, so this is probably as preachy as Dr. Suess gets, and it just might get on the nerves of some people, but the tree hugger in me salutes him for it, even as he paints a grimmer picture of environmental destruction than Al Gore ever thought of.
Even so, it's clearly Suess with his imaginative worlds and funny characters. It's a solemn book of warning that it pretty darn good into scaring kids into being careful with the environment. And that's not a bad thing. |

| I bought this series after reading the positive reviews on Amazon. My five year old son enjoys the stories very much. I personally like how all of the adventures are tied together by the kids' experiences in the tree house. After we finish the first four, I am looking forward to buying the next set. |

| My 2 year old really likes this book. We have actually purchased a few other pigeon books, but this is our favorite. The humor might be aimed at an older age group, but our 2 year old enjoys the funny voices we add to the story. This is a fun book to read outloud. |

| This book is extremely boring. I liked City of Ember, People of the Sparks was so-so and this one wasn't really even related to them.
I can't understand the folks out there that said the book was like Christian Fiction. It was the opposite!! The book portrays religious people, Christians in particular, as narrow-minded, nonthinking people that will follow anyone with a strong opinion like they were sheep. | I read about half of this book, since many other people were too. It is not good at all. Once the main character knows that this boy is a vampire there's no point to the story. |
