| My 3-year-old daughter and I love this book. The illustrations are so fun to discuss and I really like that the story gives an example of making lemonade out of lemons when something less-than-optimal happens. This is a great introductory book when diving in to the Fancy Nancy collection. |

| I bought this book for my seven year old emerging Stars Wars fan. He LOVES this book and brings it with him everywhere. The book is great as it has all the characters from all the movies. The pictures are great as well as all the information about the characters. |

| I have only recently started into graphic novels, but out of the ones I have read I would rate the batmans from best to least favorite as follows:
1)Dark Knight Returns 2)Long Halloween 3)Killing Joke 4)Dark Victory 5)Batman: Year One Long Halloween has a great story (which continues in Dark Victory), great art style, and is just fun to read. Highly recommended. |

| His Dark Materials is a really good series of books. I've never been much for fantasy, nor have I read a lot of children's books. Harry Potter looks boring, so I've stayed away. My draw to these books started with a an e-mail forward last Christmas, one of those alarmist e-mails trying to convince me to boycott the movie due to its "atheist themes."...I wanted to see what all the controversy was about, what could rile up the e-mail mob.

| Times have changed. Little kids left home alone and shouldn't they have been told by their parents not to let anyone in?
This is the book that must of led to a lot of wild house parties and may have spawned many party while your parents are away flicks (Risky Business, etc). A good fun read with a lilting cadence! |

| For anyone who loves to read, whether child or adult, this is a great fantasy story. I wish I'd had this when I was young. It has the potential of becoming a classic. Bought this for my 12 year old niece for Christmas. |

| This is a very entertaining parody of the classic children's book Goodnight Moon, and is best appreciated if, like my two four year olds, one is already familiar with the original. The text and illustrations follow the pattern of the original closely, especially in the first half. Some of the characters are monstrous versions of those in the original book, and others are new, but all of them are beautifully but grotesquely drawn monsters. | This book has a great story-line, but it is very predictable and much too simple for advanced minds. Although I felt like I always knew what was about to happen, I still found it pretty entertaining. Even though it wasn't my favorite book to read, I still want to read the next one because I liked the story. |
