| I checked out this book from the library for my 3 year old daughter. We loved it and had a great time reading it with a french accent. We loved this book so much that she is getting it for her birthday to add to her book collection at home. This is a classic. Also check out the other "Happy Lion" books from Louise Fatio. |

The sub-title of this book is, "Opening Paths to a Moral Economy". So I interpret the Soul of Capitalism to be concerned with its fairness - the fairness of the economic system. | I used Tiger Math to teach a math lesson to sixth graders. They loved the pictures and the story. This story was a lead into making a line plot. Sixth graders may think they are too cool for picture books, but mine loved the book and activity. |

| This book is an absolute winner. Every little girl I give it to accepts it immediately as a firm favorite. It all started with my memories of not wanting to return it to the library. Modern little girls like to carry it about with them (Hoping that someone new will read it to them? As an opportunity to admire it in public? Because they can't bear the thought of being parted from it?) Who knows. All I know is that this is a great book. |

| I bought this book for my husband to read with our infant son. We all love it! The illustrations are adorable and the tactile "fur" is great! Our 13 month old always selects this book from his basket and loves to feel the pages. I also love that it is repetitive and rhyming! I am going to buy the matching "Just Like Mommy" next. |

| I can't tell which I like better in this book: Jerry Pinkney's beautiful watercolor illustrations, or Julius Lester's engaging prose. 'Mr. Elephant's Elegant Habiliments' is one of Lester's literary inventions.
The world where all the people and animals get along, and all the people are named Sam come alive in this witty story. | Cute story and illustrations about a little boy who can't sleep because there is a noisy tiger in his closet.
I'm not sure why the boy has a tiger in his closet or if it's just his imagination but then that's half the fun. It makes a great bedtime story and a great story for little ones who think they may have noises coming from their closets. The tiger is a friendly tiger and not scary at all for the little ones so recommend for toddlers through about 7. |
