| Personally, I am not very excited by the fictional series of Magic Tree House books. The extra stuff about Jack and Annie are very boring to me and I've found many students who feel the same way. What excites me and I find interesting are the non-fiction companion books. They are 10 times better than the fiction books. I love to read them and learn a lot from reading them. |

| This book has beautiful illustrations. My son is 7 months old and he reaches out to grab at the pages. The illustrations are so colorful and bright. It has a cute story as well. |

| This is a great book book. I simply couldnt put it down. Tom's parents aren't home and his gramfather got injured in a snowstorm. Now Tom needs to go on the horse that he got for his birthday for help. The only problem is that a a killer panther is on the loose! Will tom and his horse make it though the panthers territory? Or will they get killed??? |

| This book is so cute! It has a lesson in it about not trying to be someone you're not; It's best to just be who you are, plain and simple.

| This a beautifully illustrated story that should appeal to adults as well as children. We will be taking a copy to our grandson in the next week or so and will see if someone about to turn 5 years old can appreciate it. He will no doubt love the drawings; not sure about the story. |

| Although not written in rhyme like so many of the other Bill Peet books, this one shines with its descriptive story-telling and fanciful sketches. We first fell in love with Bill Peet's work with the book "The Caboose Who Got Loose" and have since not lost the opportunity to own as many of his books as possible, since my sons never wanted to return the books to the library and insisted on purchasing copies to have "for keeps". I am sure you will like these stories with a moral as well. |

| This is one of a series which includes Louis the lion, Duck Ellington, Miles Crocodile and our favorite, Ella the Elephant. The CDs are marvelous but they don't always follow the book. No matter. All are worth a purchase. The talent is superior and fun, and the music is in no way watered down. |
