| Another simple yet captivating book by Rod Campbell. This one is my 19 month old toddler's favorite. She loves pointing out the "hidden" hints of the next page's animal, and there is this terrific page at the end where a lion's mouth opens and closes as you open the page...her favorite part. And the last page has all the animals peeking out from the jungle...a great opportunity to ask where each one is...a great tool for teaching to differentiate between the animals. |

| Ignore the age description of 9-12 year olds--this book is for toddlers! I snatched up Baby Animals, Jungle Animals and Farm Animals in an airport store as soon as I flipped through one book. These are great for 1-3 year olds. My son still hasn't tired of the pull out animals which appear black and white on the page, but come to life in vivid colors once you pull out the tab. | This is an amazing novel! I don't even know how to describe my new profound love for this book. And it closely resembles the movie Two Brothers, a movie also about two tiger cubs that get put into captivity. This is a novel that speaks about determination, conviction and love. This novel strongly goes against the acts of the Roman Collosieum which is our modern day death penalty or any acts of violence in the world which urges readers onward.
