| Recently finished this book and I highly commend the author for penning the improbable: a book about law that is incredibly lucid, engaging, and even entertaining. I found myself fully absorbed every time I picked it up. The writing is excellent and the organization clear. I've come to believe over the years that very few books actually need to be written, in terms of adding value to the human race--Law 101 is certainly one of them. |

| I really don't have that much more to offer from those reviewers who have already reviewed this book, although I would like to say that this book is so well done that it should be required reading for any and all individuals, regardless of where they live, who are applying for a CCW (concealed carry weapons) permit. | I really can say much except that this is a great primer for the self employed/independent contractor.
Personally, I think this will become increasingly important as layoffs continue to rise. If you have been laid off or think you might be given the forced early retirement notice, read this book. |

| The beginning passages of this book are simple and relatively easy to understand even if you barely know Spanish at all, but by the end of the book the readings are more complex and challenging. This is a great way to get into Spanish if you know very little. My only complaint is that the exercises are fairly pointless because the answers are whole sentences straight from the text. However, the great passages and formatting make this book worth buying as an introductory Spanish text. |

| This book is a must-purchase for anyone with a desire to see the "real" National Security Agency. This book has its flaws, as does the Agency, but it is the closest an outsider will come to understanding what NSA does, aside from sitting console in an ops center. Bamford's NSA Trilogy (PP, Body of Secrets, Shadow Factory) is an amazing amount of information on America's most secretive intelligence organization.
If you're looking for the NSA mentioned in "enemy of the state" or "the x-files" or even Dan Brown novels... look elsewhere. Read More: |
