| When I looked this book up, I understood from the reviews that it was full of wonderful monologues perfect for teens. I found almost all of them fairly stereotypical and pointless. I would call them "wish monologues". They wish they were monologues. Although it's a great idea, this book was a huge disappointment to me and I would not recommend it to any teen looking for audition material. |

| As a writer, I don't know what people are thinking... It's the author's right to organize their own work. Someone else does (Ted) not make a better version! Only she knows what she was trying to create. This is a great book! |

| I love this book, and so does my oldest son! He has always hated storytime and reading, preferring to do more active things. But when I bought this book and showed it to him, the illustrations captured him and he actually sat still and looked at it for awhile. Then when I showed him that he could find the hidden ducky on each page, his interest grew exponentially! | As a homeschooling mom (myself raised by teachers) I was very disturbed by the BE Language Discovery Cards I bought for my 1 yr. old. But first I'll mention the positives: the cards have large letters and colorful pictures. On the back are teaching tips, and the word from the front of the card is written in 6 other languages with pronunciation provided. I almost gave 2 stars just for this aspect. | My child's Beestar online vocabulary program listed this book as a reference. We purchased it following the recommendation. What a fantastic result it brings. My child's reading level is at top of his class now... I believe this book has the ability to change a child's perspective on learning words. | I purchased the Gandhi DK biography and was really surpised. DK is well known for their complex layouts with numerous pictures, drawings, and outtakes. They've done an excellent job with this biography providing frames that discuss historical and religious aspects, such as Hinduism, that are critical to Gandhi's life, but would deviate from the story being told if they were integrated into it.
