| This is an excellent poster! The quality is actually a lot better than I expected for the price - quite thick paper. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but that's fine. The pictures are big and easy for my 3yr old to see/identify. I'm happy that each picture is a common item ("apple" is for "a", not "astronaut", as 2-3 yr olds don't normally know what an astronaut is). I love that there's both upper and lower case letters. I'm very happy with this purchase. |

| BUY IT. Trust me. I have a library of over 200 children's books for my son, age 2. I was stunned at what an excellent item this is when we received it! He is only two but he knows his letters, so I thought the ABC board book would be a good fit for him. I had no idea! It was neat that he'd learned his letters already, but now I can ask him, "James, what letter does "airplane" start with?" and get the right answer. He knows DOZENS of these, thanks to this book!

| I just brought this book for my 7 yr old that is building his skills on writing sentences independently. We also own the My Book of Writing Words: Learning about Consonants and Vowels (Kumon Workbooks) and My Book of Simple Sentences: Learning about Nouns and Verbs (Kumon Workbooks). Although this book is recommended after the other two, I am actually going to use this book first, then the "Writing Words", and then the simple sentences. | My kid loves the sticker chart in the back of the book. She re-counts her stickers everytime she adds a new one. And what 5 year old does not need practice with handwriting? |

| Read and loved it in the early '90s. Re-read it when I found out Kureishi's coming to my area on a book tour. One of the best coming-of-age stories I've ever read, it wonderfully evokes London of the mid-'70s through the use of one of my favorite things - pop culture. The rare book which cries out for a sequel. |

| AR level 1.5, great beginning reading book, my son who is not thrilled with reading loves to read this book. A story about 5 fishermen, who a good at fishing, but not so good at counting how many fishermen there are, a little girl comes a long and saves the day, and she gets all the fish. But the fishermen are happy they have each other. 32 pages

| Used to reinforce our 4 y/o's learning on Saturdays. At home he enjoys listening and following in the book. The best advantage is in the car...its easy to follow and I hear him hours later singing the songs. I am learning right along with him and its great fun. Really happy with the purchase! |

| We bought this book for our slightly-more-than-2-year-old twin grandsons, and they loved it. At this age, they're more interested in identifying the pictures than associating the drawings with the letters, but that's ok. There's something about the monkey image that is endlessly fascinating to them. Go for it! |

| My baby loves this book. She loves looking at the pictures, she points to them and I say the word to her. It's a great way to introduce the first words to baby that is just starting to talk but I can see we could probably use this book for many years to come until kidergarten even. |
