| Overall I like the songs. My eleven-year-old son and two-year-old neice enjoy it too.
Hearing it in my car just 20 minutes a day really does help with remembering declensions. I'm wondering why they have so many English/American songs. It would be preferable to have more Russian songs to get to know the culture better. Maybe "Teach Me Russian Three" could incorporate them? |

| I have used a lot of language tools and classes, and this is hands down the most confusing. Maybe I'm a slower study than the others who reviewed this book, but learning seems quite inefficient. This is because grammar is not explained well (often times the explanations are incomplete, or the reader is told to just "study these examples") and the topics seem to bounce around. | I've searched unsuccessfully to find Hebrew materials suitable for my young children to assist me in teaching them the language, and I was very excited when I came upon this item. The concept of translating familiar songs is nice, but the execution loses a lot in my eyes (or ears, actually) because they didn't bother to get speakers with native Israeli accents. | Colloquial Cantonese: A Complete Language Course (Colloquial Series)
I have ordered quite a few Cantonese language courses; CD's and books, but this has been the best I have found so far. The CD and the book work together well and the spoken Cantonese on the CD is clear and well enunciated, and the kind of language one might actually use as opposed to some of the stilted and contrived discourse I have seen in other sources. I highly recommend this book and CD together. |

I have ordered quite a few Cantonese language courses; CD's and books, but this has been the best I have found so far. The CD and the book work together well and the spoken Cantonese on the CD is clear and well enunciated, and the kind of language one might actually use as opposed to some of the stilted and contrived discourse I have seen in other sources. I highly recommend this book and CD together. |

| I have no idea why the author wrote this book. It reads more like fiction than a memoir, the same as the awful "The Glass Castle." I will save you a day of reading this and summarize it here: Andrea grows up poor and miserable in England, while her, her mother, and her sisters are all repeatedly abused by their "dad," (various stepfathers). | I taught Italian K-12 and found this helpful in all levels. However,I only used the Cd in the older grades. I love this and the Teach me Italian pack because it is so difficult to find good Italian language teaching material at all. This one is great to use because there are the American favorites that kids already know. I have been through countless catalogs and info for Italian language materials and find this to be one of the best finds! |
