| The songs have catchy melodies so it's easy to learn them and join in. I like the fact that the delivery is fast, imitating native French speakers. Also a plus is that children's voices are used in the conversations which is more fun. Drawbacks are that the songs are imbedded in the middle of the instructional tracks on the CD. It would be better if they had their own designated tracks - because already my kids want to hear the songs but don't want to hear the narrator's explanation and translation. |

| I just purchased this CD and so far am extremely pleased with it. The songs are very pleasant and fun to listen to and are sung by native-speaking female and male singers.
Also, with an entire booklet of Spanish and English translations, there are rhymes and spoken verses in children's voices as well as other sounds to enhance the songs such as babies laughing, etc. The booklet is broken down into ages which seems helpful but I play the CD all the way through for myself and my son, ... | I'm in pursuit of introducing French and German to our four children before we attempt a European vacation. I'm bilingual, so teaching Spanish is a breeze for me, but I got a bit stuck when attempting the other two languages. Thank goodness for Ana Lomba's materials. I like the songs and the cute conversations. The children do get bored during the explanation parts of how to do the songs, but I'm able to reel them back in and still get some practice in. | My grandchildren tried the Beth Manners' Fun Spanish CD so I bought this one as a follow-up. Great story, funs songs plus lots of Spanish vocab and phrases. They absolutely adore it. |

| I loved it and have told the others in our "class" to use them. We have a study group of 10 and have studied vocabulary, conjugations, tenses, etc. This is the most enjoyable and easiest way to learn. It was helpful to have some prior knowledge of the language. We have used all kinds of study aids and cd's, but these are the best! |

| I bought this when I had two preschool kids: 4 and 5. It took a couple of months to really discover it. Now the older is 1st grade and I found that the book contents are so easily connected to the school material. We can in-house reinforce school lessons. It was surprisingly natural for my kids to listen to the CD and repeat the lessons. It's the straight-forward "this is a horse" and "this is a truck" kind of stuff. I really recommend this to the preschool father. |

| As a caveat my child is on the young side (2.5) and this disc comes with a book that has activities that she is too young to do yet. That said, she asks me to play these CDs EVERY day in the car. The voices are mostly authentic to the show, but I was little disappointed by the lack of music from the show.
There are four stories, and each has a scenario (e.g., the park) around which vocabulary words and sentences are introduced. The disc is mostly in English, with the Spanish words and phrases worked in. It's good for children ... Read More: |

| We decided to homeschool our 2nd grade son because we were told he needed to be put in special ed do to his reading. After using Hooked on Phonics 2nd grade and master reader he is reading on grade level after just 5 months. What I loved about HOP is that we could review or redo flash cards and lesson until he had it mastered. He loved the stories and books included and sometimes couldn't wait to read them to his dad when he got home. That NEVER happened before. I highly suggest this product. |
