| The book is obviously dated but I found the frequent review excercizes to be helpful. I did them consistently and found that my understanding of the topics grew. The short "comic-strip" like stories are unhelpful and irritating. The conversations which people have in this book are unrealistic as well. This book is great for remembering vocabulary because there is a helpful list after each chapter and occasionally it is okay for learning verbs.
