| After reading the other reviews on here I wasn't sure that I would like this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I'm familiar with faeries from the Laurell K Hamilton books, but this is much better. I feel that the author did a great job of submersing us in a world seamlessly without needing to explain every detail of faerie life. | I did not know of the Pet Fairies series before ordering Penny the Pony Fairy. I was so pleased with the book and my granddaughter loved having me read it to her. The book played right into a 5 year old's imagination -adventure, but not too scary. I liked the "chapters" format so we could stop and start as time permitted. The books are affordable and I'll definitely purchase others in the series for Christmas, birthday, etc. to start a nice family tradition. My granddaughter will remember Grandma reading the Pet Fairies series. |

| I wish I could give this book more stars! Not only is this my 3 year old's favorite book, but mine as well! It teaches children that just because someone is different doesn't mean they are any less special than anyone else and that they can't do something as well. Wonderful book that teaches important values in life! |

Personally I loved this book. It was very intense and kept you on your toes at all times. Scott Westerfield did a great job of illustrating mental images. If you loved the first two books then your bound to love the third one! |

| I really enjoyed this book. Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite authors. She wrote this really well. I wasn't expecting the ending or any of the surprises. It was very good.

| The 2nd book in the Uglies trilogy is weaker, but it was still hard to put down. I think I was put off a bit by all the valley girl "pretty" talk where everything is oh so "bubbly"! Westerfeld spent more time developing a romantic relationship in this book than in having his characters engage in adventure.
