| i am just getting started on the book. i like it so far.it seems very interesting.she carries a ukelele to school and the guy wannaput her ontheir show called something like "hotspot" im sorry if thats wrong but they think that she is like undercover or somthing. i havea kindle so im commenting on this using it.i recomend it toreaders and musicians. im gonna go readit so see ya andyes i love the book so far |

| In the second Allie Finkle book, the title character and her two little brothers begin attending their new school and their grandmother comes for a visit. Allie also adopts a kitten that needs a great deal of care.
Those in the age range the book is aimed at (I'd say second to fourth grade) will probably enjoy the school storyline the most. | Again, the Clique returns but has even more interesting twists: boys.
This book was certainly better than the last one, seeing as the first book was all about the petty cat fights about girls. This sequel has an added interest, which is boys, parties, and the foreshadowing of Alicia's downfall. There is more of a backbone to this sequel. | I find this book to be inappropriate for the age level listed (ages 4-8). Not only do Ivy and Bean speak very disrespectfully toward and disobey their parents, but, most offensive of all, they take the Lord's name in vain. I have three children ages 4-8. I do not feel they are old enough to recognize they should not imitate the actions and words of Ivy and Bean. |

| Yes perhaps there is a liberal bias to the book, but the bottom line is that for parents who are too nervous to be honest with their children about these issues, this book is a high quality alternative option. My mom bought it for me when I confessed my fears of puberty, getting my period, and the fact that girls I knew had been masturbating since the age of six.
