| The author chose to focus more on fashion than on the plot and its characters, thus leaving the story half-baked. I thought I was picking up a book about vampires, not Vogue or Elle! The author went overboard with her obsession for designer labels that it just got beyond ridiculous. The characters weren't well developed, as was the plot. The flow was very choppy. | I adore Goosebumps because I like scary books. The best parts are the funny parts. I get frightened and put the book down and stare at the wall, thinking why am I scared. That's why I give this book 5 stars. |

| We have been picking up Eric Carle books to help with our four year old daughter's PDD and speech challenges. The repetitive sentence structure is really a delight for her as she gets to read the parts that are the same from page to page, yet each page features a different animal which keeps this book from feeling monotonous. | I did not know of the Pet Fairies series before ordering Penny the Pony Fairy. I was so pleased with the book and my granddaughter loved having me read it to her. The book played right into a 5 year old's imagination -adventure, but not too scary. I liked the "chapters" format so we could stop and start as time permitted. | John Green is a talented story teller. His teenagers are complex and real, and the issues they grapple with are not of your average bubble-gum variety. He makes me interested in the people and hooks me on their stories. He's witty, too. This book made me laugh out loud in places. |
