| I belong to a homeschool co-op and purchased this book when i was assigned to teach a class on medical inventors/inventions. The age group I teach consists of mostly 7-9 year olds and i was a little concerned because the recommended age for this book is 9-11..however, after using the material in this book i feel that the majority of 7 and 8 year olds will have little problem with the crafts in here...they may of course just need a little more adult supervision when creating their projects!!I used ... | My name is Brett Patenaude, i gave the book a 4 star review beacue it gave me alot of facts.Like how bill has always rocks in his chair since he was little, and that by the time he was 13 he was better at cracking computer bug than many trained softwear programers.The main character is Bill.Bill grew up in a small town of boston.Bill faced trubble in his early life with getting along with his class mates.But he had no problem copeing with this problem when he went 2 an all private boys school. |

| My nine year old grandson found this book interesting and useful. He is already exploring some of the clever, do-able activity/experiment suggestions. I recommend this book to any budding scientist. |

| Although Einstein's basic life history and his theoretical concepts are reviewed moderately well for a child of about twelve, we found the book difficult to read due to the short and very choppy sentence structure. This writing style was very distracting to us as we tried to read this aloud to our children. Parent added dynamics and humor helped retain interest. Photos were only moderately relavent and the illustrations were actually mediocre quality black and white sketches. |

| As an avid student of, and experimenter in, recorded sound, and particularly in the historical aspects, I anticipated learning something new from this book. At first I was shocked at the glaring errors and omissions in this thin volume, but discovered on the fly leaf that this is classified as "Juvenile Literature." That explained it. I wish that fact had been made clear in Amazon's summary of this volume. |
