| As the youth coordinator for a new youth ministry, I searched for a while to find a devotional which met my standards. I desired a devotional that was brief enough to give to a young Christian, yet personal enough that it could challenge my more advanced students.

| What I love about this book is that it takes a HE said/ SHE said approach. The book is written by parents who lost a 25 year old son and each has a voice to share.
The chapters alternate between the father's journal and the mother's journal, with each realizing that the pains and how they deal with the loss are so completely different. | Total Devotion is such a great devotion to read. It really helped me to grow and helped me in my daily life. It is VERY easy to read if you are on the go a lot or even if you have time. I HIGHLY recommend this to any guy or girl. Great for junior high and high school kids. |

The author, from the age of 5, is blessed with the mystical grace of being able to see and speak to her guardian angel. | It is hard to believe that a book like this exists. Many pages are filled with sorrow and pain yet there is a hope that pain like this, once identified can be released. And that this expression of release is conveyed in an honest realistic fashion that will probably needed to be faced over and over again until the toxicity is greatly reduced.God is the key. | This is a great devotional! It can be as short at 10 minutes or as long as 30 minutes depending on the discussions. I find that the topics are helpful and relevant to both the teens and parents. It's a wonderful tool to get your teens talking more in detail rather than just "yes", "no" answers. I highly recommend it. |
