| My 2 1/2 year old loves this book. She especially likes seeing the illustrations of Baby Duck as a baby. I believe the simple repetition keeps her interested throughout the story, but it's the illustrations that make her want to turn the page. |

| Love Hurts was a great addition to the Clearwater Crossingseries. I really enjoyed it and it brought out a lot of issues thatmake you rush to the bookstore to get the next book. Anyway, it has a bit of a cliffhanger at the end and it is definitly one of my favorites out of the series. |

| As I first started reading Where I Want to Be, I was almost 100% sure that this was going to be similar to the author's other National Book Award finalist, Sons of Liberty. No interesting characters (the only one being your run-of-the-mill tomboy), so-so story, and ho-hum writting with a few glimpses of inspired greatness thrown in. I was wrong.
