| When I read the book "Witnesses To War" I couldn't put the book down. I was disgusted by the true Nazi persecution. The book is about collections of the true life stories during the holocaust and the Nazi persecution . One of the stories I liked the best was about the Polish children being tested for Germanization because it was twisted that the Nazi's could capture a child .The parents were helpless. | I have been teaching English for years in Japan. I have used hundreds of textbook for my English class. However, never before have I come across this kind of textbook. It is intened for 5-8 graders, but ESL students can also use it and learn so many facts about the Holocaust. This textbook impressed me so much because in Japan we have no textbook like this. I am going to use this one as an assignment for my students. We should never forget the Holocaust. We should pass it down to our children. |
