| The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund J Bourne is a valuable therapeutic tool for people who are willing to follow its lessons to improve their mood. I bought it for somebody in my family who suffers from anxiety and occasional panic attacks but I have used it for fifteen years with very good results in my clinical work with patients. I strongly recommend this valuable resource for learning skills to overcome the debilitating symptoms of anxiety. |

After reading this book I can say that Michael J. Losier is not a loser. One of my friends thought his name was "loser." I'd say he's a winner with some practical ideas in this book. | Steven Pinker is one of the greatest minds we have. The Blank Slate is on my top 20 lifetime list for books and I've enjoyed seeing him in interviews (and one outstanding debate) online. The Stuff of Thought unfortunately is fairly pedestrian by his standards. To me, this book was far more about language than it was human nature or psychology.
