| Although I read it with a dictionary at hand, I have thoroughly (and slowly) savored this adventure. Not having read any Harry Potter in English, this is my first contact with the work, and now my only regret is that the other volumes are not in Irish. For an intermediate learner of Irish, I find this to be an excellent motivator to keep going in the language. |

| I love it because it has something to do with Harry Potter & I'm fascinated with the life of JK Rowling -BUT I don't trust that the information is 100 percent correct. How can I when on page 7 it claims that owls run the bank in the Harry Potter world? Obviously, this author hasn't paid close attention to the Harry Potter books. GOBLINS RUN THE BANK. Who can read the books and not know that?! |

| This is a pretty good translation of the original Harry Potter book. The English idioms are translated (for the most part) into correspondingly appropriate Chinese phrases. It is a bit crazy with all of the proper nouns, but certainly readable for someone at my level of proficiency (end of the DLI Mandarin program). |
