| This book is a very good read for parents and children to talk about being nice to others, especially others who are different. It has some big words, but nothing too hard to explain. *Possible Spoiler* The ending is sad, so as a parent or teacher you want to be prepared to explain how things wont always end well. I would also advise reading it before hand so you know what's coming and how to best direct it to the child you are going to read to. |

| I've read the whole Jacky Faber series. I am an avid reader. That said I've found that a good writer is a good writer; but this series of books goes beyond that. It's a clever, it's imaginative, it's fun. Very few authors surprize me, cudos to Mr. L. A. Meyer. The Jacky Faber Books to my mind, uplift a persons morals. Parents your teens get a glimpse into past history without being bored.
I highly recommend the whole series Lastly I've contacted the author the next is due out 8/09, I can't wait. |

| I loved this book and so did my youngest grand daughter. She had it memorized by the age of three... word for word and using all the expression of a professional. She charmed every one she read it too. She is now 15 and when I ask her for her favorite all time childrens books...she always says Stephanie's Ponytail. I am now purchasing it for my youngest and I am hoping she enjoys every bit as much as she did. |
