| One of my favorite picture books of all time. This sweet story is about opening up your heart to new friends even after you've lost all your old friends--it would be great for children who move to a new school or town. The text is a little on the long side for a picture book, but for this story it fits. |

| And... it's good! I think it was brilliant for Mike Lupica to name his book the Two-Minute Drill. My reason for that is the football team had to run a two minute drill to win the championship. Chris, my favorite character, is the quarterback that had to lead the team down the field. A reason I enjoyed reading this book was that it shows how one friend can make all the difference. | It's not my favorite book but I have often used it with my son (as both a three and four year old) to discuss different things - especially adoption. I think it's a handy book to have but I don't think it's the best book for addressing differences with children. |
