| This is one of my 3 year old's favorite books. The pictures are beautiful and the story is so well written, that I don't mind reading it to her over and over again. |

| All of The Whole Story books are fantastic. My eighth graders love to read these because they enjoy the sideline information and pictorials that help them to better grasp the story. I bought a classroom set and have already requested for our school to invest in Tom Sawyer by this same company. Great Idea! |

| ...I liked this book because I like sports books. I like hockey too that is what this book is about. I liked this book so much that I couldn't put the paperback book down for the whole five days that I read the book. I liked that book also because it was about two very special friends trying to get along with the others on there hockey team even thought Derek was a different race then everyone else. I would recommend this book to anybody that likes the sport of hockey. |

| Although I think the illustrations are lovely I really disagree with the previous reviewer. During a residency for a Library Science class we were asked to look at ARC of some children's books and this was one of the titles I chose. I found the illustrations did not match the text. The illustrations would have been fine for the original tale of Little Red Riding Hood. But for a reverse of the tale it did not work. | I love this book. It's great to read to kids or for a beginning reader to read on their own.
Arthur wants to bake Christmas cookies for his parents. Using his sister's EZ Bake Oven, he does just that - only he accidentally uses salt instead of sugar! The cookies come out hard as rocks, and Arthur cries that nothing he makes ever turns out good. But then, he thinks of a different way to use the cookies - a way that they'll last a lot longer, too. Great book for Christmastime. |

| I have not read Piggy Pie, so I have no prior connection or affection to Gritch the Witch.
But my 5 year old brought this home from the library and both of us were pretty confused. The story is about how Gritch does a nose dive one day on her broom, it gets wrecked, and she takes off on a quest to find a new mode of transportation.
