| All the mini magic books are great for the little ones - my daughter loved this in the 10month-18 month range. The are simple - one main animal that goes from an outline to a colored animal when the insert is pulled out. The excitement of the color change and the action of pulling out the page is entertaining for babies. There are other smaller pictures on the pages to talk about too. | I think this is an excellent resource for music educators. I love this book, because it has a great story line, fun pictures, and a beautiful melody. This is one of my favorites. It can be used in a Kindergarten classroom, or a 5th grade class room and all students love it. Great for teaching the Dorian mode. Beautifully written and illustrated. |

| I recently got this book from the library to read to my baby (he's due in June, but I'm sure he still manages to enjoy it!) and my 4 year old niece ended up dragging it to her house. It's 2 days overdue and we still cannot find it! She loved the book and took it everywhere with her, and now it might be anywhere in the city. It's a great book and great to read with young children. I had my niece count the piggies on each page and she loved it! |

| I like this book because its about fish and i love fish. I also like it because i always used to be like the litte fish copying everyone else, trying to be cool, and trying to fit in so i didnt seem like an outsider. Now i know how it is to feel copied because i have a little sister who wants to be like me.

| This book, followed by Good Night Moon, is my 12-month-old son's favorite. He asks for it again and again. And again. That is about as good a recommendation for any book I can give. But I will also say that the book is both simple and smart, and I don't mind reading it 10 times in a row. Or 11. |
