| A gem of a book. This is one of my favorite books from childhood (and adulthood!). This newest edition, which celebrates the 100th anniversay of the first publication of Kenneth Grahame's book (1908), has the most delightful illustrations by Robert Ingpen. A lovely collector quality book for anyone, young, or not so young! |

| Mercer Mayer is my fall back for all great kids books. This one is no exception. My son loves this book and I love that it teaches him that what is important in life is not toys and things, but instead showes him the value of family and friends Thank you mercer mayer as always. |

| Shiloh is a very good realistic fiction story. Shiloh's owner Judd Travers mistreats his dogs. Whenever Judd's hunting, Shiloh runs away to Marty Preston's house. Marty tries to keep Shiloh a secret up on their big hill. One night something terrible happens, so the secret slips. Marty needs to make some decisions and some lies.
I love this book so much that I would read it a million times. If you want to know more about this book, get it and read it! |

| My two sons (5-year old and 4-year old) have enjoyed this book for a couple years now. They imagine themselves as "little bears" and enjoy adding their own imagination to the book's different stories.
I really liked the "Birthday Soup" chapter best and have used it to teach my sons that no matter how little you have, you always have enough to share. | My son loves the "Diary of" series. We had Worm first, then added Spider and now Fly. Like any typical boy he loves bugs and these are fun and inventive. The illustrations are great too! |

| I was looking forward to receiving this book, following rave reviews and awards. But both I and my twin nearly-five-year-olds have been very much disappointed, and are unlikely to finish the second book (or even start the third) in this three-volume compilation.
