| My 2 & 1/2 year old daughter loves this thing! It's a cross between a pacifier and security blanket for her. She sucks on the tags which is a little gross but we have 2 of these books and wash & rotate them constantly. She sleeps with her taggies book, and if we are going on a long car ride we let her take the book and she is out like a light in 5 minutes! I would recommend these books to any infant or toddler! |

| I'm not quite sure what's behind the criticism from other reviewers of this book; it's fairly innocuous compared to some of the Disney animated features in which the parents of cute animal characters are violently murdered. My granddaughters both love to pick up "pretty rocks" and will bring home pounds of them when we walk in the woods. | I'm an 8th grade language arts teacher. I just used this book to teach irony, situational and dramatic. The product description does a good job describing the plot. It's about a quick thinking mouse who makes up The Gruffalo to keep others from "inviting" him for lunch, tea, etc. In turn, the mouse is shocked to learn there really is a Gruffalo and uses the other animals to make the Gruffalo believe he is a scary creature himself. | I loved Just So Stories as a child, and the stories are - for the most part - still really wonderful. Be aware if you are buying this for someone, however, that some of the stories are less than flattering to minorities and one of the stories does use the word "nigger," so this is definitely a book for someone who is old enough to talk to about language and what's appropriate and so on. |

| My 3 1/2 son loved it. It's beautifully illustrated and just fun to open the flaps to find the poop. The end is spectacular and a surprise! |

| Mr Scarry was my children's favorite author. Again, as I read Richard Scarry's books to my grandchildren they loved every character. There was a clear cut character trait and lesson on life to be learned. I bought this book expecting to find my friend Richard Scarry but, this did not even sound like his other books. I was very disappointed. Will I buy another Richard Scarry book. Probably not. |

| When I first started reading the Warriors, I immediately got into a habit of non-stop Warrior Cats reading. When I got to this book, Twilight, it seemed that maybe when Erin Hunter was writing this book, she was filled with many wonderful ideas for her story. Mothwing is one of my favorite characters.
