| This is a great choice for the 12-18 monthers as it makes noise, is bright and has lots of interesting textures
on the robots. It is exciting for them but found the older ones could read it too. It's big, its bright and cardboard so it won't rip. A good choice! |

| I teach children's literature, and I found this book delightful, well-written, and compelling in its story. Readers get to know 2 girls of Los Alamos scientists who are both different from others but initially loathe each other. One mark of skilled writing is subtle changes in character, and Klages makes the transition from these girl's tensions with each other to a promise of a sisterhood gradual and believable. | Elmer's Weather is a great little book. I'm trying to teach my son Italian and am always looking for books like Elmer's Weather. I'm grateful for the translation and it is also fun and colorful! | I am a high school biology teacher. Since reading this book I have purchased 5 of the Magic School Bus Chapter Books. This book provides excellent scientific information and students of all ages enjoy. I had my 6 year old nephew read it, I read it, and one of my freshmen biology students read it. We all came to the same conclusion; we want to take a trip the aquarium and see the sharks firsthand for ourselves. I highly reccommend anyone with a child or a love for science to read this book. |

| This is a really good series for young boys and girls who are having a hard time with reading. Its about 2-3 grade level and appeals to kids with a liking for solving things. I think the subject matter would appeal to [...] who read well too. I start out reading it with my grandsons and when they get interested, I find something I just have to do - but let them read on their own until I get back. Seems to work! |
