| Oh my gosh. this is an amazing book.it is one of those books that u wont b able to put dpwn until ur done.i recomend this book to anyone that is the age of 13 to adult. it is funny great intellegent has detail the author does a great job on making this seem like it is real life.i live that she keeps a webpage and she wrotes in it as often as possible. she keeps track of life ad she is a very mature girl.she is a role model for young girls like me. thanks and i hope u love thus book. its a keeper.

| I loved this book as a kid. It was a lot of fun to read and the experiments I tried were fun to implement. I even combined a couple of the experiments into a siphon powered water fountain that got me to the science fair finals.
As another reviewer noted, the descriptions of the science behind the experiments is brief. A really deep understanding of the principals behind the experiments needs a little reading outside of the book, but it was intended as a teaching aid, not a textbook all by itself. ... Read More: |

| My four-year-old liked this story, and I will consider buying others, but she did not 'love' it. The kids-turning-into-penguin plot, which involves kids turning temporarily into penguins, did not sit well with me. In addition, there were too many characters to remember or care about. The writing style was not entertaining and seemed choppy to me. My daughter and I prefer the Geronimo StiltonMysterious Cheese Thief (Geronimo Stilton) series -- the pictures and 'funny' text really make that series interesting to pre-schoolers. ... Read More: |
