| Linden Dungy is a third grader that questions what his 'it' is. Old brother, Tony, is great at basketball, everyone's found their niche but him.
'You Can Do It' is an inspirational read to be shared with children to encourage them to strive to always do their best. It was a gracious read, no real excitement, just an example of some of the trials that youngsters go through. |

| I read this book because it was on the reading list at George Wythe University. I loved this book because even though I wasn't familiar with baseball or Jewish religions, I could easily follow the plot and enjoy the strong characters, friendship and parenting styles behind the scenes.

| This is the most insighful book I've read yet on raising a teen. I found myself encouraged and underlining passages on almost every page. Most of this review is simply excerpts of what I have found the most informative. Freedom for teens is earned by demonstrating responsibility and parents need to find the right balance between being too controlling and when they are being healthy and appropriate about saying "no". | I have read several very favorable reviews of this book -- one here on Amazon and some on other sites. It is, however, my humble opinion that these reviews are overstated. First, let me say I absolutely loved Nobisso's book, "The Weight of a Mass", and that is the reason I ordered this book for our parish library.

| The art is excellent, the story is cute, but wrong!
These authors tell the story that shepherds saw a star that led them to the manger. It was the wise men who were led by the star. The shepherds were visited by an angel. You can look it up in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. |

| I could not find a series to stick to. I would pick up a book and then set it right back down, that is till I found this series, then i couldnt put it down! I totaly could relate to Christy, and she bacame like my best friend. I have read the series at least twice and Love it. I also enjoy the Sierra books. I cant wait to start on the college years and the Katie books. Also no one gives this book lower than 4 stars and honstly you cant they ARE amazing i wish i could give this book 5ooooo stars!!

| As a parent with small (and medium and large) children, I'm always on the prowl for good books for the kids. And by good I do not mean "NEA Approved". I want something that will not only hold their attention but fire their imaginations and, most importantly, establish them in Scriptural principles. R. C. Sproul's The Lightlings fits the bill.
