| i love this series of books! (jump at the sun). I recommend you get the whole series. It is very important for african american children to be exposed to reading materials that reflect them.

| This is absolutely the most wonderful book for introducing children to the holiday. I have read it to and with first and second-grade children for years as a teacher. The children are so enchanted and just LOVE chiming in after they "get" the pattern. They "incidentally" learn their ordinal numbers (first, second, third) as part of the fun. | It was a very enjoyable read! I didn't want to put the book down. I would have liked to have seen a little more interaction between Caspian and Peter, and a more detailed battle sequence at the end.
