| I read this book primarily to study and implement what was written about "The Phantom Mom". The information was satisfactory and insightful, but I thought that perhaps more could be said about the solution phase or implementing the plans of action. The symptoms the authors gave were spot on. I grew up without a mother and the symptoms of having a phantom mom were so fitting that it looked like I was reading my life story. | I highly recommend this children's book about the Christmas story for all ages! The story is told well for even young children to follow, but is profound enough for adults to enjoy. The illustrations are my favorite part of this book!! They are so colorful and inviting and bring the story to life. I specifically like the broad ethnicity Bettoli uses for the characters, as many cultures can see themselves in the pictures, and I believe this would allow many different people to personally relate to ... | This is a fantastic Bible for the kid who is always asking questions. The question and answer section provided real, current issues with Biblical answers. It's written is a way that they can understand. |

| This was the first book that I read from the series, and it drew me in like nothing else I'd ever read before. The characters are captivating, especially Bonnie, who I instantly fell in love with. The Candlestone opened up a door for me to enjoy a series that quickly became my favorite, and not only that, it led me to Bryan Davis' fan forum where I made lifelong friends, and was able to meet the man himself. | This book was excellent! I couldn't stop reading! I wanted to get back into Eunice's world! The character development was wonderful! Very believeable! I cried when Abigail passed, and I loved the wisdom and respect from the elders. Buy it, read it, and give it to friend to enjoy as well!

| I bought this book in the board pages edition so that my granddaughter can look at it without worry of her ripping the pages. She loves to have me read it to her!
It is a great story for older children too. A good reminder that trying to fit in is futile, and being ourselves is what is really important. |
