| This is a wonderfully illustrated book about a silly King who would not get out of the tub. The song on the CD isn't quite how I remembered it but fun just the same.

| My 9 yr old son loves the Magic Tree House series. I've purchased every book and have also pre-ordered books that will be released in Sept. When he's finished with each story, he gives my husband and I an oral book report. He has also learned various interesting historical facts concerning the book's theme. According to my son, there are clues throughout the stories and always a moral/lesson at the end of each story. | The theme of this book would probably be that it ties in with the rest of the series, which is 'The Magic Treehouse Series'. The moral lesson might be not to burn or destroy books because they are such a great source of history.

| As strange a series title as "Chronicles of Ancient Darkness" sounds, I am beginning to find these books examples of great YA literature of the present time. I adored the first book, I adored this sequel, and I cannot wait to get to the rest of Torak's prehistoric story, this time searching for the cure to a mysterious disease plaguing the Clans.
