In this book, the Nazi invasion of Poland is seen through the eyes of a small homeless vagabond of a child, a child who is both too naive to understand properly what is going on around him, yet also more street-smart and much better at surviving the hard life than the adults around him.

I found this book refreshingly unique, intelligently written, and compelling too - in fact, I found it so impossible to put down that I ended up staying up most of the night to finish it. However, it is a ... Read More:

A truly captivating book. I remember reading it over six years ago, and I still love it now. I've always been interested in the Tudors, and this was a gentle stepping stone for me when I was younger. Elizabeth speaks and behaves like a girl her age should, but you still get an immense sense of the lifestyle of the princess. This is a book that controls the stereotypes that are specified towards the Tudors, and is simply a good read. Most likely the best book in the Royal Diaries collection.

This is possibly one of the most touching books I have ever read in my life. Apparently it's based on true events of two Cival War soldiers who form an incredible bond. The art is amazing, and the story will make you cry.

I was surprised to find this book in the young adult section of the library. I think it is for adults of all ages. It's a real page turner. I found myself sad when I came to the end and I can't wait for the author to write another.

The series started out great, but from the beginning what bothered me was, ho-hum, no romance, sure Kel developed a crush on Neal, not that it ever turned into anything. But the story witheld my interest long enough for "Squire" the third book in the sereis. Well, I loved it! There was just as much, if not more action, than the first two books, all while Kel's romance with Cleon was blossoming into something wonderful and true. Then, comes Lady Knight. I personally was very excited to read it. Well, when Cleon walked in during supper one night, I ... Read More:
