| I didn't immediately fall in love with this book. The problem is that Book #1 mainly sets up the whole story but real action is not taken until book #2, Rebel Angels. Just hold on, the last 2 books are wonderful! |

| I enjoyed reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It was a very well written novel. Although I believe the beginning started really slow and did not grab my attention right a way, but as I kept going the book became more and more interesting. Golding sure knows how to make a huge plot flow and was able to create a huge conflict for the story. The conflict in the end teaches some very valuable life lessons for the reader and the characters.

| I am 44 years old and yesterday, at our Thanksgiving celebration at a relative's home, I came to read this wonderful book for the first time. I was so touched by it, really all choked up as I read about Ferdinand. I just couldn't hold back my tears. I will be reading this book to my 71 children, at the public school where I run an After School Program. | My daughter and I had a long car trip this summer in which we listened to a library audio copy of Coraline (charmingly illustrated by Neil Gaiman himself) and absolutely LOVED the story. So, for Christmas, I had decided to give her a beautiful hardbound copy of the book to read together.

| This is my favorite book, I think. I have read many. It is one of the better ones. And, as usual in a series, the very first book is usually the best. Eldest is alright, but I think Brisingr is an awesome book also. |

| Maniac Magee is a wonderful book for any child to read. I read this bbok for me Children's Literature class and I could barely put it down. I found the development of the characters to be wonderful. Without a doubt I loved Amanda Beale, she was my favorite character and was definitely a spitfire. I would recommend that this book be used in intermediate grades. It is age appropriate for fifth grade and up. |
