| The story Fiddlin' Sam was one of the best children's stories that I have ever read. It's mainly about a man named Sam who goes to town to town to fiddle for the people. Then, Sam gets old and needs to pass the fiddle onto someone else.
Marianna Dengler, the author of Fiddlin' Sam, did an excellent job on this book. One thing that I thought that she did good on was her hopeful ending, but I'm not giving it away. Now, I think that the Target Audience for this book is probably from ages ... Read More: |

| When I picked this book up from the library I was not sure it would be one that I would enjoy,but I was surprised how into the story I got and could not put it down! I am not going to tell all the details of the book but I will just say that if you want a book that will not only capture you mind but your heart as well than you will enjoy this book and even be sad when it ends cause you just want to keep reading! |

| my children are 6 and 7. they love this touching story of beethoven. we have taken many a long car ride and this cd is always our companion. it would be a good idea to also get a background book of beethoven for your children as they may become so intested, as mine did, that they simply had to know more about him. i bought the teachers notes that go with this. i would have done better to get a more thorough book, but it has served us well. this cd is highly recommended |

| If your looking for a wonderful book for your kids or especially a great christmas gift, this book is for you. My daughter loves it. We read it and sing it every night before bed. The illustrations are hilarious. I can't wait for Howard Fine's next book to come out. |
