| It's a cute story with a moral but I simply enjoy the illustrations so much. Mouse's personality comes through very well.
Our family enjoyed this book so much it's going to be part of our own Thanksgiving tradition. My niece actually created her own relay race so that her children could balance and carry all the food items to "Mouse's Holey Hole." (play food, of course) |

| Perfect for aspiring flower girls and princesses with pluck! We checked this out of our local library and had to buy it afterwards. Lilly is hilarious, sweet, and vulnerable all at once in this story. We got a price $5.00 off what's listed on the cover (yay!) and made our three year old girl quite happy. Wish we could find an edition with a CD available -- our daughter listened to the library one at least 20 times and knew it by heart (she even remembers the author's name). |

| I have loved Kevin Henkes books, especially his Lilly books, since well before I had a young daughter. I was excited to buy her this boxed set as her first introduction to Henkes.
I was a bit disappointed that they seem to lack the wit that the rest of the Lilly series has. I missed comments such as, "You mean that bump is a baby? I thought you were just getting fat!" It's just sugary-sweet treats, and perhaps an attempt to teach educational concepts. |

| This is actually book 1 if you read them chronologically, and it is a departure in some ways from Redwall and Mossflower (the two books I think are best-known of the series). The villainous foe is shrewder, more evil, and sane (mostly). If I remember correctly, the battles are a bit more violent than Redwall and Mossflower. I also think this book had more depth than Redwall and Mossflower. I've become enthralled with the world that Jacques has created, and Lord Brocktree satisfies immensely. |

| My Maisy-loving two year old grandson loves this book. My only concern is the durability of the paper flaps; already one is "peeling" after only a week or so of use. |

| Geronimo Stilton Field Trip to Niagra Falls is a great book to read. In the book, Geronimo goes on a field trip with Benjamin's class to Niagra Falls. There, set up camp so Thea does all the work! Next, they go on a boat in the water to see the beautiful Water Falls. Punk Rat misses the boat and he tries to jump on but he misses it and lands in the water. | but not as good as "Poppy" or "Ereth's Birthday". (Haven't read "Ragweed" or "Poppy and Rye" yet). I thought Mephitis was cute, but noticed that the author Avi and illustrator Brian Floca were biologically incorrect in the illustrations and descriptions of his 'spraying' scenes: Striped skunks do not do 'hand stands' when they spray; it's the spotted skunk that uses that method. |

| This is a great story for a toddler bedtime; simple, short, sweet, and just interesting enough. It helps me wind down, too! As always, the bold colors, simple text, and realistic topic make this a winner. I love the little details of Maisy putting on her pj's and using the bathroom! Highly recommend! |
