| I bought this set to read with my grandson who is in kindergarten. He began reading simple words about six months ago. We read through the first book together and he was able to sound out most of the words with help. He was so happy with the book that he asked to take the whole set home so he could read them to his little sister. |

| We all love this one. It's our favorite of all the Maisy books we've read so far. Unlike many others that just have flaps this one does so much more. My daughter loves to blow out the birthday candles, (while I pull the tab), and slurp the juice, (while I again make it disappear.) I think my husband was won over by the happy birthday underwear under the party dress. All and all, a lot of fun and the mini version does the same as the bigger one for such a low price. |

| My daughter has Mouses' First Christmas and likes it, so we thought we would get this book. She enjoys reading it more than the other one. It is about a mouse and his poppa playing in the snow. They make a snow mouse, a snow house, mouse angels and so on. It is a cute winter theme book to read with your little one. |

| My son hasn't played with this book TOO much yet, but I will say it does have a nice amount of pages, which are very colorful and sturdy. AND the crayon does wipe off nicely, so they are reusable for this "writing on the book" activity. (I hope I'm not setting him up for future deviant activities of defacing of old fashioined REGULAR books, lol). The crayons are sturdy and are not a chincy type of wax and it's cute that they made them two different colors each. |

| What is Valentine's Day without Chocolate? And what to do with the last one before bedtime? I think you know the answer... This book will appeal to older audiences even though it is a boardbook because of the use of clever adjectives. Children need words to describe their world and Lilly and Kevin Henkes give them those words. Pleasant reading that makes you want to read more about Lilly. |
