| We received this as a present for our daughter, and our first thought was "How adorable!" The box set is very cute, and the brown fur covered book is certainly attractive to a child's curious little fingers, but that is where it ends for us.
Our daughter enjoys petting and pulling the fur, but the story and illustrations do not hold her attention. Even the sounds (kerchoo, thump, kerplunk, ssip, etc.) didn't catch her attention as they usually do. The illustrations are softer than ... Read More: |

| We are raising our son in a bilingual household, and so I was happy to see one of his favorite books, Brown Bear Brown Bear... in Spanish. The translation is very nice, with a good rhythm, and an extra nice touch at the end. I enjoy hearing my husband read it, I enjoy reading it, and it is good practice for my Spanish. |

| Corduroy books are my daughter's (15 mo) favorites and this one is no exception. She still wants me to read it to her everyday even though the "snow days" are over for the year. The size is great for a toddler and the story is just the right length. |

| I do not recommend this audiobook. The narrators are unimaginative and the background music is too loud. My daughter loves audiobooks but doesn't even get through one of these stories before losing interest. The audiobook Lilly and the Plastic Purse collection is by far her favorite. The difference between the narration of Berenstain and Lilly is remarkable. |

| I am always on the look-out for children's books that make ME laugh - if by some chance THIS is the book that my child will want me to read 5 million times a day, then I won't have the urge to throw it out of the window at an opportune moment!
It is a loving, sweet and subtle funny book, which I would definitely recommend. |

| Another buy for my 6 year old son, he loves this book. He can read it very easily and is proud of himself. He often grabs it to go sit quietly and read and relax. Big fan of the Berenstain books, this is another great one. |

| I love that the focus is positive and truthful. It doesn't ignore the birth mother's role (as other books I've seen) and is age appropriate. It is probably not great for older children, but great for young children!!! We love it!! |
