| I read the book to my two children and they simply looked at me and said ..."bears don't get divorced!" I think it is unrealistic and they're aren't any coping tools to resolve issues the PARENTS often create for the children after divorce or separation. It is cute but they seemed to have a hard time identifying with bears getting divorced. |

| Delightful stories of the Hundred-Acre Wood and all of its lovable characters. Pooh and friends have quite a few adventures (or misadventures) in this collection of Winnie-the-Pooh stories. The stories remind me of childhood, making them special each time I reread them. I wouldn't even be able to choose my favorite chapter in this book -- each one is full of wonder, laughter, and Pooh. |

| A.A.Milne's "Now We are Six" is a must for all chldren. Read it over and over, and son the child will learn favorite poems and can look at the words and read along. It is good that children learn the Real Pool characters rather than Disney's idea. |

| This is a simple book of a Little Sal, and Little Sal's mother, and Little Bear, and Little Bear's mother, who get mixed up with each other on Blueberry Hill.
It's very realistically written and illustrated, and the exciting part isn't too scary for little ones. I will note that it's a bit long - maybe better for kids with longer attention spans than shorter ones. If they're as young as Little Sal is, it might be better to wait a year before reading :) |

| In many ways, this is just a reprisal of the original book.
Corduroy is out and about, he hears a comment that makes him think is outfit is lacking in some way (this time, he doesn't have a pocket), he goes looking for it, he gets lost and stays the night away from his friend Lisa, he makes a number of naive comments about his situation, he gets found, Lisa helps him with his outfit. It's not a bad book, it's just not very original. |

| I gave this book five stars because, more than any other technique we've tried, it has helped my daughter stop sucking her thumb. Now four years old, she had been sucking her thumb since she was about six months old. We've tried rewards, sticker charts, threatening loss of privileges, talking with the dentist, the works. | We love the illustrations and the story about the three bears. I liked that the author gave a reason on how the Bears knew Goldilocks had touched the porridge, chair and bed. I also like that the baby bear has a squeaky voice - that's fun to read out loud - the kids enjoy the baby bear voice :) |

| Every year I buy my kids a Christmas book to read on Christmas Eve. This is one of our all time favorites. My son was 11 when I gave it to him and it was very fitting for his age. His little sister loves it too. David Catrow's pictures are wonderful. |

| Teachers...you will never believe it...this book puts it all together... the five finger rule, choosing a "just right book," putting books and furniture away properly. It is simply amazing! My students could not believe their ears as I read all of those little rules that we talk about all of the time for reading independently. Finally a great story that teaches such great reading rules. |

| We received this as a present for our daughter, and our first thought was "How adorable!" The box set is very cute, and the brown fur covered book is certainly attractive to a child's curious little fingers, but that is where it ends for us.
Our daughter enjoys petting and pulling the fur, but the story and illustrations do not hold her attention. Even the sounds (kerchoo, thump, kerplunk, ssip, etc.) didn't catch her attention as they usually do. The illustrations are softer than most children's ... Read More: |
