| I liked this book because it was funny, surprising, and happy. I liked it when Paddington fell into the river because it was funny. I recommend this book for ages 6-9. If you can, try to read the whole Paddington series. Kathryn M |

| We had this set in casette format when my children were young. Now they are teenagers, but LOVE to listen to the stories again on cd. Peter Dennis does an amazing job with the voices and the stories are a lot of fun. It's a very relaxing cd to listen to at the end of a hectic day. |

| My 3.5 year old loves story books with lots of illustrations and "Very Hairy Bear" turned out to be a big hit! The hairy bear who is blessed with lots of hair all over , except on his "no-hair" nose:) journeys through the seasons, and gets into all sorts of exploits - fishing for salmon in the spring, sticking his nose into a honey tree and munching on blueberries in the summer, looking for acorns in the fall, and snoozing through the winter.

| But this book is really fun, especially for the car obsessed. Four different colors of bears race around a crazy race track, going "over" and "under", "around" and "behind" and playing dirty tricks on each other in rhyme. Not a cloying book like many others in the series. A favorite for ages 3 to 4. |

| I'll warn you before buying this book, you might find it to be a real wakeup call. Brother and Sister get involved in a TON of activities and are literally being drug by their parents someplace every day. Whether it's horseback riding, swimming, soccer or dance, Mama is toting them from here to there while trying to fit her own schedule into the mess. | Byron Barton has done an excellent job of re-telling the popular children's story. My granddaughter loved the bold colors and pictures. She first discoverd the book at our library and was beside herself when we had to return it, so I bought a copy. She was so excited, she has now memorized the story. This book is excellent for all pre-schoolers and pre-readers. |

| Bullying is a reality. Lots of kids get bullied everyday and it isn't always possible to get school or other authorities to deal with the problem. This happened with my own kids.
