| This is the climax to a great Batman story. If you've read Loeb's previous work then you'd know he's worked on stories involving Batman's early career. After reading Dark Victory this feels more or less like an indirect sequel to that story. This is definitely the same Batman, but he's far more experienced now, and much more sure of himself (until he falls in love...or does he?) Anyway. Pick up part one, and part two. You won't regret it! |

| This book is definitely not the same format as the other If You Give books. As another reviewer mentioned, it is primarily a counting books without many words. However, my toddler enjoyed it. We had a good time pointing out and examining the many ornaments on the last page. |

i got my first eloise book when i was 6, and i am now 13 and last year i got my first eloise doll. i think the book has no age limits, as kay thompson wrote in the front cover of "Eloise" the first book "a book for precious grown-ups". my mum still sometimes borrows my copy to read. there are alot of things in it that you dont pick up on the first time you read it, and only now am i getting some of the jokes in it. i ... | I started reading this to my son when he turned 2, and at first, he was o nly interested in the illustration that had a fan depicted. I would read the first 1-2 pages of the book, and he would quickly flip over to his favorite page and then we were done with the book. However, I used to read it to him every day and soon he progressed to actually letting me read the entire story to him. | I am an obsessive Harry Potter fan, and a 3rd year spanish speaker. I've read the first book almost too many times to count, and decided to mix it up a bit and give my self a challenge (my parents didn't want me to waste my time reading it again.) I've been keeping my english copy, dictionary, and notepad close to learn new vocab. I feel that reading this has been a great way to get better at spanish quicker.
