| My children grew up with Beatrix Potter books, the small books they could easily hold, so I was thrilled to find The World of Peter Rabbit Gift Box 1 when searching for a co-worker's baby shower gift. The box itself is very sturdy, heavy,& durable, with a substantial latch, while the books are dust jacketed hardback books that are just the right size for a toddler's hands. | My two older sons (ages 5 & 2 1/2) have really enjoyed reading this story since the birth of their twin siblings last year. The adventures of the triplets, especially trouble-making Alexander, keep them glued to the book! They love Alexander's exciting brushes with disaster and are so happy when everything turns out well at the end. | This book mostly traces the Latin roots of many of the spell and character names J.K. Rowling used. Obviously she put her Latin classes to very good use in coming up with fitting names for just about everything.

| Our family is already a big Marc Brown fan, so we thought we probably had a good bet in this new D.W. book. We were right! While most kids spend a lot of time thinking about what they are going to get for Christmas, so does D.W. However, this book gets D.W. (and your child) thinking about what they can get for others! I loved that D.W. took initiative and made the gifts herself, rather than going to the mall!
The illustrations are great and this is another winner from Marc Brown! |

| After seeing the movie, Miss Potter, I wanted to know more of Potter's stories than Peter Rabbit. I collect small things. I so very much enjoyed reading each of these 12 lovely little books. The case is designed so beautifully and only takes a small space on my book shelf. |
