| My children like the Thomas the Tank Engine series. However, I have to agree with the other reviewer that commented on the disjointed stories. It is very frustrating reading all of these stories as one sentence doesn't flow into the next sentence. I am constantly backing up and rereading the sentences to make sense of the stories. The kids like the pictures, so half the time I make up a story to go along with the pictures. |

| My one year old loves Blues and loves this book! He loves lifting the cloth pieces and trying to hide under them with the characters! :P My only issue with it is that it has a sandpaper flap and my one year old ate through it. I wish they would have used some tan fabric instead! Now I've had to put the book away for a while. My other option is to cut the sandpaper out, which I might do instead. |

| I just purchased this book for my Scooby-lovin' first grade daughter. The story and illustrations are cute - not scary. Perfect for a 5 or 6 year-old. The age states K-grade 2, however, an average K - grade 1 child will not be able to read this without help. The sentences are short, but many of the words are on a 2nd grade level. This book has such a cute ending - especially if your little one loves dogs! |

| This book was fairly informative and answered as well as brought up numerous questions. Of course, some of these answers can be found off the internet, this book provides historical references which greatly aid in furthering the knowledge of the entire Harry Potter Series.
I hope that a newer and even more updated version becomes available so that some other questions could be answered. |

| My children really enjoy this book! I wasn't sure if they would like it since it's longer than most books we read to them, but it kept their attention and they ask for this book many times. (My children are 3.5 and 2 years old). |

| I was familiar with the character, of course, but I don't recall ever reading the first book.
And now I think I see why. It is a little stuck in the past, isn't it? We don't glorify poaching anymore, nor smoking, nor old-fashioned zoos. (And that just messes with the series canon, that, since George doesn't live in the zoo in any of the other books.)
