| At first my daughter and I were not big fans of this book. It took me a few readings to learn how to incorporate my daughter's favorite sounds -- animal sounds and "clapping" to the clip-clop sounds. But now, my daughter LOVES this book! She cries when we get to the end of the book and I usually end up reading it to her more than once. The repetition is great in that she is learning to identify each of the five animals in the book. | I bought this for my 8 yr. old and she could not put it down. It has loads of easy to read information. I also love the book myself.

| My three year old can't get enough of this book. He recites the entire book by heart. We've been reading it almost every night for the past year. He now "reads" the book to his 10 month old brother, who squeals in delight when the three year old says "Wheeeee can you dance like me?" |

| Goats on a snowy rooftop wearing their fanciest horns? And what's the farmer doing up there, wearing a bright red hat? It's so good to see Minerva Louise back in a Christmas adventure - I can't wait to read this to my nephew who will love being one step ahead of this kindly but confused hen as she explores a house on Christmas Eve. Wonderful illustrations too - I think my favorite is Santa's hat disappearing down the chimney!

| I have a 6 year old who is beginning to read. The books she brings home from school have sentences that repeat along with difficult words that she figures out through picture clues. I am sure that this helps her learn to read, but I also realize that she simply memorizes the repetitive sentences. These books use words with the same phonemes (like "oo" and "ay") along with mostly simple words that she can already read (for example: is, on, she). Each book revolves around about 3 phonemes. | My son is one of the most fickle readers I have ever come across. He pushes away the old books in favor of new ones. However, Who Said Moo? has been a constant favorite for over a year. I wish I had it sooner. |

| The book is very good for young children but it needs something else. There doesn't seem to be a flow of information through the book the statements jump from one place to another and maybe, a little more information wouldn't be amiss(i.e.at one point there is a drawing of a small pony and the statement says'This kind of pony only grows to the size of a big dog' what would be wrong with putting down the name of the pony?) I was VERY disappointed by the drawings, photographs would have been better. |
